From Sunday 15.10.2023, LiMA Medienakademie invites you to a new series of events addressing repression in journalism, WikiLeaks, and whistleblowing. The series starts with a movie night discussing the legal proceedings of Julian Assange, analysing why this case is significant for press freedom, and the current status of his legal proceedings. These discussions are free of charge and will be streamed on YouTube.

The event will feature guests Veronika Nad (from Disruption Network Lab), ethnologist and activist for free expression, press, and internet freedom, and Daniel Lücking, scientific associate and part-time editor with a background in whistleblowers from security authorities.
